Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of the Porcelain Tech Studio website. Porcelain Tech Studio ("观白工作室", "we", "us") is a bilingual US–China digital product studio. By using this site, you agree to what follows.

Note up front: this page does not govern paid work. Project contracts do.

What This Site Is

This is an information and enquiry site. It describes who we are and what we build: websites, iOS and Android apps, WeChat Mini Programs, UI/UX design, and AI integration.

You cannot buy anything here. There is no cart, no checkout, and no payment flow. Sending us an enquiry does not create a contract, reserve capacity, or oblige either side to anything.

We reply to enquiries within one business day. That is a service promise, not a contractual guarantee.

Pricing Information

Any prices, ranges, or estimates on this site are indicative. They help you judge whether a conversation is worth having.

Indicative prices are not offers. They can change without notice. Real cost depends on scope, complexity, timeline, and what we learn during requirements work.

Only a written quote, signed by Porcelain Tech Studio and by you, is binding. If a figure on this site disagrees with your signed quote, the signed quote wins.

Project Contracts

Paid work is governed by an individual project contract between you and Porcelain Tech Studio. That contract is a separate document.

The project contract covers, and this page does not:

  • The five-milestone payment schedule, including amounts and triggers.
  • Any limit on revision rounds.
  • Scope, deliverables, and acceptance criteria.
  • Timelines and dependencies.
  • Maintenance and long-term support terms.
  • Confidentiality.

If this page and your signed project contract disagree about paid work, the project contract wins.

Case Studies and Concept Work

Porcelain Tech Studio is a new studio. Some work shown on this site is marked "concept."

Concept work is self-initiated. We built it ourselves to show our approach. No client commissioned it, and it does not represent a client engagement or a delivered project.

We do not present concept work as client work, and we do not publish testimonials we have not received.

Intellectual Property

The content of this site belongs to Porcelain Tech Studio. That includes text, layout, design, code, images, and case-study material, unless we say otherwise.

The Porcelain Tech Studio name, the "观白工作室" name, the tagline "We turn ideas into products, and products into possibilities." and our logo and brand marks are ours. Do not use them without written permission.

You may read this site and share links to it. You may not copy, republish, or reuse our content commercially without written permission.

Client project work is different. Under our standard project contract, ownership of the source code we write for your project transfers to you once your final payment clears. Third-party components, open-source libraries, and our own pre-existing tools stay under their own licenses. Your project contract sets the exact terms.

Acceptable Use

When using this site, do not:

  • Break any applicable law.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, its servers, or connected systems.
  • Scrape, crawl, or harvest content or contact details at a scale that burdens the site.
  • Introduce malware or other harmful code.
  • Send false, misleading, or abusive enquiries, or impersonate anyone.
  • Interfere with anyone else's use of the site.

We may restrict or block access if we believe this is happening.

No Warranty

This site is provided "as is." The information here is general, and may be incomplete or out of date.

Nothing here is professional, legal, financial, or technical advice for your situation. Do not act on it alone. Talk to us, or to a qualified adviser.

We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Porcelain Tech Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of this site. That includes lost profits, lost data, and lost business opportunity.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Liability for paid work is addressed in your project contract.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes are subject to the courts of that state.

Counsel should confirm this against our place of business and our cross-border work with clients in China.

We may update these terms. The "last updated" date at the top shows when we last did.
